  2. Great video. I am walking through step by step but keep getting an error on the FSM. I am running vCenter 4.1 U1 and export the extension key. I then register it as a plug-in in vCenter and receive a successful message. When I go back to USCM and look at the FSM I get a warning message with code F78319 [FSM:STAGE:REMOTE-ERROR]:Result: service-unavailable Code:unspecified Message:Error syncing extension key(sam:dme:ExtvmmProviderConfig). Any ideas what the problem might be?

  3. What version of UCS firmware are you on and do you have spaces in your vCenter data center name? There was a bug in earlier version of UCS that didn’t work with spaces in the vCenter data center name. Also make sure you can ping vCenter from the UCS command line, you may have to use the IP if you don’t have DNS setup on UCS.
